Design Guidelines for Print Placement

Print Sizes & Placements
RememberĀ that styles like youth and women’s have smaller printable areas than our maximum print size.
Ask your Account Executive about theĀ in-house standardĀ print placements and dimensions for any garment style.
Feel free to request your own size and position specifications, too!
File Formats
While we can print almost any high-res file thrown our way, the following guidelines will help your design move through the print process smoothly.

Vector Files

Vector files ensure the highest print quality because Vector images can be resized and scaled without affecting the quality of the design or print.

RasterĀ Files

RasterĀ files should be at least 300dpi and scaled to the intended size of your print. If you’d like your print to be 30cm wide, please be sure the design in the file is 30cm wide – not including any background area. Raster files cannot simply have their resolution increased. This is called ‘upsampling’ and results in a blurry, jagged image.

Vector files ensure the best print. Remember to outline your fonts!

Please send layered (one for each colour to print) designs, on a transparent background.

Raster images (.psd, .jpg, .png., etc.) should be at least 300dpi.

Every order includes some time to help bring your files up to scratch, just ask your Account Executive!
